Introduce AI safely: AI literacy, policy and training

Your staff probably already use AI. We map which tools and which data, put the most important measures first and make sure your people know what is and is not allowed. Usually 2 to 4 weeks, for a fixed price.

What is AI literacy?

AI literacy means that staff who work with AI know enough to do so responsibly. The EU AI Act asks organisations that use AI to support AI literacy among their staff (Art. 4, since February 2025, amended in 2026). LogicX arranges it with an inventory of tools and data, an AI policy, training that fits real use and a 90-day plan.

Sound familiar?

  • Staff use ChatGPT or other AI tools, and nobody knows exactly which ones or with what data.
  • There is no AI policy, or there is one nobody has read.
  • Customers or the board ask how you handle AI, and the answer is not written down yet.
  • You want to use AI, but first want to know what has to be in place.

How it works

Four steps, usually in 2 to 4 weeks.

Step 1

Inventory

Which AI tools are in use, by whom, and with what data. Including the tools nobody officially asked for.

Step 2

Rules

An AI policy and agreements per tool that staff understand: what is allowed, what is not, and which data never goes in.

Step 3

Training

Training that fits how your people actually use AI, not a generic course.

Step 4

Plan

A 90-day plan, with the biggest risks first and an owner per measure.

What you get

Overview of tools and data

Which AI tools are in use, by whom, and what data goes into them.

AI policy and rules per tool

Agreements staff understand and that you can show customers and the board.

Training

Fitted to how AI is really used in your organisation.

90-day plan

The biggest risks first, with who does what.

What is an AI policy?

An AI policy records which AI tools your organisation uses, with what data, who checks and what is not allowed. The EU AI Act does not prescribe what a policy looks like. A policy does help record agreements on tools, data and checks, and answers a customer or board question with a document.

What we need from you

Time from the people who use AI every day, for the inventory and the training. A decision-maker who signs off the AI policy. Nothing else up front: we build the overview.

Not legal advice. The EU AI Act asks organisations that use AI to support AI literacy among their staff (Art. 4, since February 2025, amended in 2026). We help you arrange that in practice. For a legal opinion we refer you to a lawyer.

Frequently asked questions

Is AI literacy mandatory?

The EU AI Act asks organisations that use AI to support AI literacy among their staff (Art. 4, since February 2025, amended in 2026). What that means for your organisation exactly is a legal question; we make sure the inventory, the policy and the training are in place. For UK organisations, whether the EU AI Act applies to you at all is a question for your adviser.

Does my organisation need an AI policy?

The EU AI Act does not prescribe what a policy looks like. A policy does help record agreements on tools, data and checks. For a legal opinion we refer you to a lawyer.

How is this different from the free AI quick scan?

The AI quick scan is a twelve-question self-assessment on AI use, data and policy, with your score straight away. Introducing AI safely is work done by LogicX: the inventory, the policy, the training and the plan.

Can we do this ourselves?

Yes. Start with the free AI quick scan. If you can take it from there, you do not need us. The plan we make is yours; you carry it out with us or without us.

How long does it take and what does it cost?

Usually 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the number of teams and tools. The price is fixed and is in the proposal before we start.
